Roger Stilson, President

Roger Stilson has operated restaurants for nearly 30 years winning awards both as a concept specialist and an operator, including multi-property line management and extensive executive experience. Stilson began his career with a small chain of Mexican restaurants in Seattle and later moved on as an operator with the Ponderosa Steak Houses in Dayton Ohio. Stilson was a strategic leader with the executive team at Restaurants Unlimited, creators of brands such as Cinnabon, Palomino, Clinkerdaggers and Kincaids. His record of success includes 16 times Presidents Club award winner and NRN Hot Concept award winner for work on Palomino Euro-Bistro.

Stilson crossed-over as a Marketing expert in 1998, winning acclaim as a consumer research analyst and consumer trend forecaster. Working with several national research firms, his proprietary studies are positioning basis for several currently successful consumer brands.

Stilson became an entrepreneur in 2005 by purchasing a small family-style restaurant called Mama Stortini's and re-positioning it as a casual eatery with an Italian-biased menu. Mama Stortini's is an emerging regional brand intended to be taken nationwide by 2013.

Stilson graduated from the University of Washington in 1981 and has been married 22 years to his wife Diana. He has two children.

Tiana Brown, General Manager

Tiana Brown was born and raised in Western Washington. She began her hospitality career in 2000 at the original Mama Stortini's location in University Place. Over the past eight years she has worked in several areas of guest services for the Italian eatery. She married husband Michael, also a restaurateur, and the couple have a young daughter and son.

In late 2005 Tiana was promoted to Service Manager under the ownership of Specialty Restaurant Group. When SRG decided to open a second location in 2008, she earned a promotion to General Manager for the Windmill Bistro.
